If special tinplate can be used, the problem of affecting quality due to materials will be solved. In fact, the problems of product quality and waste products of domestic packaging containers are largely related to materials. The use of special tinplate in European countries illustrates this point. After understanding the current situation of China's can making enterprises, he believed that ordinary tinplate should never be used for packaging tinplate, otherwise, it would not only be an amazing waste, but also difficult to make profits. According to the different requirements of the packaging industry, the thickness, tin plating amount and mechanical properties of tinplate materials have different needs. At present, the thickness of materials used to make three piece cans in Europe is δ 0.13~o.2 mm, France has achieved the greatest success in the research and application of this material, which not only saves steel and reduces costs, but also does not reduce the requirements of all aspects of the product (such as mechanical strength, etc.). At present, the general development trend of packaging tinplate: (1) reduce the thickness of materials; (2) Improve the mechanical properties of materials. The most important indexes of packaging tinplate are the plastic deformation index and welding performance index of materials. Generally speaking, T610 is used to make beverage cans, t67 is used to make food cans, and the bottom and cover of cans are also made of special steel. Can materials 520 and 580 are easy to weld. The welding performance of Japanese tinplate is not ideal. Experts found that Japanese tinplate is heavily ground after tinning in order to meet the users' psychology of high brightness of the material surface. This is just an unscientific decorative product, but it is extremely unsatisfactory for the welding of the can making industry, with low welding strength and high scrap rate. In fact, for users, this is not worth the loss. In order to meet the different needs of tinplate for packaging, France adopts electrolytic method for tin coating, which not only has a uniform and firm coating, but also realizes positive and negative coatings of different thicknesses. Generally speaking, tinplate is used for can making. The tin plating layer inside the can is thicker than that outside the can, and the tin plating layer inside the can is 2.811 2g/m2, 2 8- 5. 6g/m2。 If the thickness of tin coating exceeds 15.6g/m2 (double-sided), welding cannot be carried out because of the high scrap rate.
